TOUR OF EUROPE: Switzerland

Chapel Bridge
On our way to Switzerland we made a couple of pit stops in the Black Forest for lunch and then again at Rhine Falls. Once we arrived at our lodge in Engleberg, it was love at first sight.  Our cute little family owned lodge was in this tiny little Swiss town that was surround by large mountains.  We opened all the windows in our top floor room and embraced the fresh air and breathtaking views.  Being in Switzerland was definitely a much need relaxation point of our trip.  A walk to the grocery store and we picked up food for dinner then came back to relax and hang out in the room.  The next day we headed to Lucerne where we were able to buy personalized swiss army knives, and walk on the oldest wooden bridge in the world Chapel Bridge. From there we took a ferry ride to the bottom of Mount Pilatus, then took a train up the side of the mountain to reach the top!  On the way down we stopped to ride a toboggan down the side of the mountain! Can you say FUN!? Our time in Switzerland was short but so worth every minute of it! Hello mother nature, you are gorgeous!
